Ask Questions
You can interact with the application in the following ways:
Type Queries Manually
Type your question in the input box.
Press Enter or click the Submit button to process your query.
Understand Responses & Available Options
Each response in the conversation comes with multiple options to help you manage queries and results efficiently.
Options on All Messages & Responses
Show/Hide Query: If enabled in the app configuration, this option displays the SQL query used to generate the response.
Add as Example: Allows you to save the current question and its corresponding SQL query as a reference example for future conversations.
Options for Tabular Results (Data Grids)
If the response contains a table (grid format), the following options are available:
Reply with a Message: Add a follow-up message for further clarification.
Download Grid: Download the tabular data as a
.csv
file for offline use.Show Graph: Choose how to visualize the tabular data using different graph formats:
Auto Generate (System chooses the best visualization format).
Vertical Bar Chart
Line Chart
Donut Chart
Pie Chart
Scatter Chart
Area Chart
Custom Chart (Allows you to input a custom prompt to generate a unique graph visualization).
Additional Message Actions
Copy Message: Copies the message content to the clipboard.
Delete Message & Response: Removes the selected message-response pair from the conversation.
Tracking & Managing Conversations
Conversation Metadata
Each conversation displays a timestamp indicating when the question was asked.
The response time for generating answers is also shown.
Application & Database Information
The database source is displayed alongside the responses, indicating where the data was retrieved from.
The status of the application is shown below the app name.
The application name is editable to customize it as needed.
Start a New Conversation
Click New Chat to begin a fresh interaction with the application.
Recent Conversations
You can manage past conversations with the following options:
Refresh: Reload the conversation list.
Search: Quickly find past conversations by keyword.
Rename: Modify the conversation title for better organization.
Resume Interaction: Continue from where you left off in a previous conversation.
Delete: Permanently remove the conversation.
Downloading Conversations
Click Download Chat to export the active conversation for your records.
Editing & Monitoring the Application
Editing the Application
- The Edit Application button provides direct access to the application’s configuration settings for making modifications.
Error Handling & Incident Tracking
If an error occurs, the system displays a relevant error message along with an Incident ID for tracking.
App admins (users with edit permissions) can access the Monitor page to review details about the incident and troubleshoot issues.
